Im apartment hunting in NYC. How does a real estate agent or landlord decide who gets the apartment if theres a ton of applications in? Is it the person with the best credit/records/history or is it the first one to put the application in? Sorta confused. Thanks!

Hi I’m due in 28 days. I am really batteling to keep up since 2 days ago. My body is so sore and I’m soooo tired. I still have to work for 10 days (2 days weekend included) and I really don’t have the energy or mind set to do it! I never thought it would be this tough. Was wondering – how many of you worked till the bitter end and if there was a specific reason for doing so?

Why the hell are we allowing so many less desirables from non European lands come here bringing with them idea and ideals and expecting us to welcome them.

I noticed there are a lot of people (those who love to eat meat) hate vegetarians. Would anyone know why they hate those who don’t eat meat? I personally don’t eat meat myself.
