What does it mean when white spots appear on your skin when exposed to cold air or water?

When my daughter is exposed to cold air or water she breaks out in white hive-like spots.They disappear when her skin gets warm.I was just wondering if this is some kind of allergic reaction to the cold.

Progressive Insurance could not have picked a better girl to play Flo in their latest ad campaign. She has a very unique appearance; her large eyes and smile with her hair style that is sort of a retro 60’s look. Does anyone know who this person is? Any biography information on her?

How do offcials determine when and when not to open weigh stations?

Every time I drive by a weigh station, it’s usually closed. On rare occasions at ridiculous times of the night, the weigh station will be open. How do officials working there determine when to open and when to keep the weigh station closed?

My ex-wife recently rented house in a hurry. Basically she had to move out of the place she was in rapidly. The house she is in now is relatively sub-standard, ants, bad plumbing, slum-lord style. She is refusing to pay rent until the landlord makes some necessary repairs to the house which he refuses to do. I have seen the house and fully agree with her. Who should she/we contact as far as getting the house inspected and written up so he (the landlord) has to make needed repairs.

Hi. I’m looking for a digital camera for Christmas and when I go out, I see cameras that flash a red or orange light at the subject when the person presses down on the button a little bit so they can see what they’re taking as a picture. If I’m in pitch black or VERY dark, I can’t see what I’m taking a picture of. If you can let me know what feature it’s called when they flash the light to see what they are taking the picture of, that would be great. Thanks.

What happens when you wear contacts that have been overworn already?

I used a pair of contacts for about a month, but I didn’t wear it everyday and when I did I didn’t wear it for an extended period of time. I have new contacts now but my right eye seems to be dry even after I take my contacts off. Again, I’m still not wearing them everyday.

I’m wondering what happens when you wear contacts that have been overworn and needed to be thrown out as I am afraid I might have done with the contacts I had for a month.
So if expired contacts irritated the eye, would the eye just get better over a few days?
I don’t plan on doing that again, but I am wondering if I did any damage to my eye since my right eye keeps getting dry after I take off my new contacts.

How do you determine when to stop backing up during reverse parking?

I can parallel and reverse park OK, but one thing I always have trouble with is determining when I should stop backing up. Usually I have a passenger with me that can get out of the car and signal me when to stop, but I’d like to be able to do this on my own. I definitely use the mirrors (driver’s side), and I will turn around to look, but I have trouble telling when the bumper of my car is very close to the wall/rear car.

Any tips?
